1. PRESCHOOL PRINCIPALS

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Determine requirements that must be met regarding licensing, health and safety regulations from the start and local regulatory agencies.
  • Work closely with agencies to meet requirements.
  • Provide leadership for setting overall goals for the school as a basis for curriculum objectives.
  • Set up budget and control budget expenditures.
  • Collect tuition fee and manage disbursement of payroll, petty cash, equipment and supplies.
  • Keep adequate records of income and expenditures.
  • Plan and prepare monthly reports as required by board and senior management.
  • Report to board and corporate management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education - Teaching & Leadership and preferably with Degree in Early Childhood Education
  • At least 3 years of teaching and/or management experience in a childcare / preschool and at least 1 year experience in management in childcare / preschool

2. PRESCHOOL TEACHERS

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning, supervising, and implementing the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, frameworks and philosophy of the centre.
  • Prepare and implement the programs and age-appropriate teaching aids.
  • Keep accurate records of children’s progress. Address each child’s educational and developmental needs on an individual basis to the best of your ability. Complete progress reports on children for each semester and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child.
  • Meet with parents to address any concerns or at parents’ request. Communicate with parents via the Connection Book at least once a week, weekly team newsletters and conferences.
  • Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
  • Guide and supervise Assistant Teacher in the classroom.
  • To render basic first aid as and when necessary.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom.
  • Be familiar with all working curriculum documents, handbooks and policy manuals.
  • Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching
    (DECCE-T)

3. PRESCHOOL ASSISTANT TEACHERS

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing the program for the class in accordance with the policies, guidelines, frameworks and philosophy of MindChamps PreSchool.
  • Assist in preparing and implementing the programs for children.
  • Assist with planning, share ideas and exchange feedback, and with the entire team once a month or at the beginning of a Unit of Inquiry.
  • Prepare age and developmentally appropriate teaching aids.
  • Evaluate and maintain records of children’s development.
  • To render basic first aid as and when necessary.
  • Responsible for the upkeep of teaching resources, prepare art and craft materials, arrangement, appearance, decorations, and learning environment of the classroom.
  • Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
  • Maintain and build relationships with children and parents.

4. PRESCHOOL ENRICHMENT TEACHERS

  • Working with children from ages 18 months to 6 years

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 1 to 2 years of teaching experience with learners aged 18 months to 6 years in drama, music and movement programmes
  • Proactive & energetic, possessing excellent communication skills
  • Preferably with Certificate in Speech & Drama, Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (Teaching)

5. PSLE TRAINERS (FULL-TIME/PART-TIME)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct Classes

  • Teach on weekdays, weekends and during school holidays
  • Implement instructional activities and provide a positive environment wherein students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process
  • Be an inspiring role model in leading students towards their own uniqueness and spiritual growth for their age group, subject area, and/or program classification
  • Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds and learning styles
  • Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment
  • Conduct individual and small group catch up sessions for students in need of extra coaching

Research, Develop and Write Programs (not required for Part-time PSLE Trainers)

  • Plan, coordinate and research on Application of MindChamps techniques to specific subjects
  • Upgrade of the Study Programs including course books and training materials
  • Develop new programs utilising MindChamps’ unique curriculum, learning techniques and personal empowerment strategies & skills

Conduct Consultations for Students / Parents

  • Conduct private consultations for students who have completed the program – mainly addressing issues such as motivation or the applications of techniques
  • Follow up on students who have special needs or behavioural issues
  • Meet parents to discuss their child’s progress, understanding of techniques and to give individual advice regarding their child’s needs as required
  • Increase parent awareness of the student experience

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree or Diploma in Education
  • Knowledge in the areas of educational, developmental and/or cognitive psychology
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Experience in curriculum or program development
  • Subject specialisation in English / Mathematics / Science / Chinese for Primary 6 preferred
  • A Creative and Inspiring personality

6. CORE TRAINERS (FULL-TIME/PART-TIME)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and research the application of MindChamps techniques to specific subjects
  • Conduct individual and small group teaching for primary and secondary students
  • Conducting private consultation for student
  • Meet up with parents to discuss on the progress of their children

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • PGDE, Degree / Diploma in Education or a good degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experiences in teaching primary and secondary students
  • Positive attitude with initiative, passionate to make a difference
  • Good communication and organisational skills

7. FINANCE EXECUTIVE

You will be responsible for maintaining the full sets of accounts and to ensure timely month-end closing. Besides that, you will assist to monitor receivables and stock control, prepare payments and invoices. Other duties include enforcement, review and implementation of policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Accounting with at least 5 years of related working experiences
  • Ability to multi-task and handle full sets of accounts
  • Meticulous, proactive, resourceful and self-driven with a positive mindset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Preferably with knowledge of MS Navision

8. International Corporate Communications Executive

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Copy Writing and Vetting

  • Write / vet corporate / marketing communications collateral and ensure communication materials are in line with the corporate culture and branding guidelines.

Public Relations

  • Generate publicity for the institute.

Testimonials

  • Interview students and parents for testimonials.

Publishing

  • Liaise with authors & publishers on production and distribution of books.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree / Diploma in Mass Communication;
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in copywriting / vetting, journalism or public relations;
  • Stellar writing ability, showing versatility in writing features, advertisements, releases, etc;
  • Excellent speaking and interviewing skills.
