These goals and more are what MindChamps was created to achieve.
Active Storage is the name given to the strategies and techniques which advanced learners use to understand and control the information which they will need in the future. It is a result of using techniques which make optimal use of the powers of the human subconscious. This is only possible if you understand the way the brain ‘lays down’ its long-term memories and MindChamps’ years of meticulous research have resulted in a range of brain-friendly strategies for the active storage of all manner of information. Active Recall strategies are only possible when information and understandings have been ‘stored’ actively and effectively. MindChamps’ students learn these strategies in tandem with the Active Storage strategies, so that learning, storage and recall are a seamless process. They are called ‘active’ techniques, because they do not rely on the usual ‘passive’ processes of rote- and drill-learning. They put the student in the ‘driver’s seat’ of the learning process. Application – the 4th ‘A’ – the final key element of the active learning process. Knowledge is of little use without the skills and techniques for applying it to a range of situations which are distinct from the one in which the knowledge was acquired in the first place. There are four phases to the Application process:
Every situation – in school or in life – presents
demands and sets challenges. The active learner, equipped with the required
knowledge, first analyses the problem, determines the knowledge/skills
which may be required to solve it, evaluates both the potential methods
and the knowledge, synthesises an approach or a method, then expresses
the solution in an appropriate form. In school, this might be an essay,
a report, a review, a presentation etc. In the world beyond school, it
may take the form of an action. Whatever the case, the solution is ‘expressed’ by
taking some kind of action, and skills required to create a range of means
for expression are the mark of a well-prepared and successful ‘active
learner’.
Research has shown that the way a child is taught to think and learn before the age of ten will significantly influence all future brain development. Sparks of a Champion® (SC) addresses this by developing effective learning and thinking strategies in Early Primary level students.
Springboard 2 Success (S2S) is designed to give students the skills
and techniques which will change forever the way they learn. It builds
the ‘Champion Mindset’ – the springboard to launch an
impressive school career.
Stairway 2 Championship (S2C) is a program that recognises the Upper
Primary Years as key years in the development of your child’s future
potential. It is built around 3 key elements:
Success 4 Life (S4L) is the program for students engaged in Secondary,
Junior College and Tertiary studies. Like Stairway 2 Championship, it

The PSLE Success program modules have been designed using MindChamps’ Optimal Flow Method™ to give students in their PSLE year (and the year prior to that) the skills and the confidence to cope with the PSLE subjects of English, Maths, Science & Chinese.
A component of the Success 4 Life program, the 2½ day Empower U™ is acclaimed as the best program of its kind in Australia and Asia. It provides an exciting mix of visuals, physical activities and cutting-edge information which has touched thousands of young lives, helping them to achieve phenomenal results. Education experts hail it as ‘the must-experience training for all future champions’.
A component of the Stairway 2 Championship program, Young Champions® is the ‘younger sibling’ of Empower U. The 2 ½ day workshop is designed for youths embarking on their teenage years to help them appraise themselves, remove any obstacles that hinder their growth, and chart their future goals and aspirations.
A component of Success 4 Life, this intensive 5-day workshop gives students the skills and mindset to relate to others, enhance their EQ and lead happy and successful lives. The program also features a simulation of the English Oral Exams so that your child will be fully equipped and prepared for it.
A component of Springboard 2 Success, Stairway 2 Championship and PSLE Success, the Oral Preparation™ program – 9 hrs for the former (English) and 12 hrs for the latter (English/Chinese) – gives students the skills and mindset to relate to others, enhance their EQ and lead happy and successful lives. In addition, the program features a simulation of the English Oral Exams so that your child will be fully equipped and prepared for the PSLE.
At MindChamps, we believe in partnering with parents to help create a better home-learning environment. As leaders of the home nation, it is imperative that both parents participate in the parenting workshops to understand the full range of MindChamps’ learning and mind development techniques and to reinforce them in the home. Depending on the program your child is enrolled in, the workshops available are Parenting Strategies Workshop, Sparks of a Champion Parenting Workshop, Exam Strategies Parenting Workshop and Champion Parenting Workshop. |
