Position: Early Childhood Teacher

Hours of Work: Up to 38 hours per week

Reports To: Centre Director

General Accountability:

To be responsible for the continual development children/parents’ program, supervision of children, maintenance and to ensure a high-quality service is provided to suit the needs of the immediate community.

Essential

• Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent.
• NESA Accreditation
• Sound understanding of the NSW Department of Education and Communities, Children’s Services National Regulation and National Law and Assessment and Rating process ACEQCA.
• Working knowledge of the NSW EYLF Curriculum
• Demonstrated ability to work in partnerships with families.
• Demonstrated professional level of written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
• Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate and WWCC.

Position: Early Childhood Educator – Diploma

Hours of Work:Up to 38 hours per week

Position: Early Childhood Trainee

Reports To: Centre Director

Position Objective:

The primary objective of the child care trainee is to work as a member of a co-operative team to provide quality childcare whilst ensuring that the policies, procedures, values and philosophies of MindChamps are observed and implemented.
