These Learning Zones integrate the Enquiry Teaching and Learning™, a unique approach developed by MindChamps PreSchool that encourages kids to be curious about topics and ask questions that will lead to an enquiry exploration.
Dramatic Zone
Enter the Dramatic Zone, where children let their creativity and imagination take flight! This zone is furnished with a variety of props such as a puppet theatre, cafe station, market carts, kitchen set and dress-up trolley which the kids love to use in re-enacting experiences and pretend play scenes.
Through activities based on theatrical concepts, we encourage children to experience and explore vital roles within the community in various settings by dressing up and role-playing with props and resources that reflect their interests.
Writing Zone
The Writing Zone engages children in fun and meaningful activities that develop their love for literacy and helps them build a strong foundation for reading and writing from an early age.
For children younger than 4 years old, we engage them in pre-writing experiences that build their fine motor skills, finger dexterity and strengthen their muscles.
For children aged 4 – 6, our aim is to help them nurture a lifelong love for literacy by exposing them to functional writing experiences where they learn that writing has a purpose and every print is meaningful.
Children nurture a love for writing by engaging in a wide range of writing activities that tap into their creativity such as designing cards, signages, menus, letter-writing and more. We also make learning fun and motivating through word games such as crossword puzzles, bingo and scrabble!

If you take a centre tour, you might see our young children at the Numeracy Zone absorbed in hands-on activities such as using cooking utensils to measure food ingredients for a gourmet experience or counting and paying with pretend money for an item as part of play.
Beyond picking up key numeracy skills, such experiences also prepare our young children for daily life!
Art and Craft Zone
Art and craft activities encourage innovative thinking, creativity and problem-solving – three key qualities which experts predict will be the mark of success and excellence in the future!
When they step into the Art and Craft Zone, children are given ample opportunities to be creative and express themselves. This zone provides kids with a wide range of art materials that they use to experiment and problem-solve, building their confidence in learning and embracing multiple perspectives.

We purposefully introduce children to books that explore cultural diversity, inclusion and social stories to broaden their horizons. With engaging activities such as role play, puppetry and story sequencing games, there’s never a dull moment in the Reading Zone!
Construction Zone
The Construction Zone provides a wonderful environment for children to explore scientific concepts and hone their fine motor skills! Through hands-on activities such as building structures, fitting connections and balancing blocks, kids are exposed to early science and math concepts and hone their problem-solving skills.
Using a wide range of materials, children learn to manipulate and connect them to create their very own masterpieces. Engaging in activities that use manipulatives also helps them develop concentration and perseverance in tackling tasks.
