MINDCHAMPS PRESCHOOLRIVER VALLEY

MindChamps is the warmest school for children and parents. My son sometimes has a difficult time saying goodbye to me in the mornings, but the kind teachers (and even the principal!) make going to class easy by talking to him, giving him hugs and encouraging him. Also, I ask a lot of questions about my son but they are very good at communicating to make me feel comfortable. After just 3 months, he learnt to say ‘thank you’, ‘please’ and ‘sorry’!! We are so glad to send our son to this school! Thank you so much to all the teachers! We look forward to seeing him grow with MindChamps!

Miya could speak some Chinese and became interested in the language just 6 months after joining MindChamps. Her spoken English is also with good vocabulary usage and she really enjoys going to school. This is only possible with good teachers.

Mindchamps has been a wonderful school – Emily has loved her time there. We have met some really wonderful members of staff and Emily has made some really great friends that she will cherish forever.

MindChamps has given our children a great start to their education and helped them develop a love for learning and wanting to know more.

I would like to express appreciation and gratitude towards both Ms Atiqah and Xu Laoshi. Thank you for your selfless effort in teaching the Champs. Annabelle has improved tremendously after only half a year with the school.

My son, Kingsley, started with MindChamps @ Liang Court, now @ River Valley since 2018, and is in his final K2 year. My elder daughter Victoria is a MindChamps @ Liang Court alumni. MindChamps @ River Valley has given Kingsley a secure and comfortable environment to grow and learn together with others. We can see our children are progressing daily and learning constantly through the lovely teachers. As parents, we are always informed of the progress of my son in school daily and that makes us feel very secure, as we know that they are under the care of the loving teachers of MindChamps @ River Valley.

The school takes genuine interest in caring, educating and connecting with our children. The continuous communication with parents via the app and WhatsApp is also appreciated. Lindsey has changed since PG. She has opened up more and has adapted more to school. She also has an interest in learning and being independent. The HBL was well planned and coordinated. A lot of work was put into that by everyone in MindChamps River Valley. That shows the commitment the school is willing to take and also the ability of the school to be able to adapt to critical situations like this pandemic for the health and safety of the children/staff in a timely manner. I’m proud to tell everyone that I send my daughters to MindChamps River Valley!

We appreciate the efforts that Claire’s teachers make to truly understand every child and how they work with us parents to reinforce the lessons and resolve any on-going issues – both behavioural and learning wise.

What really surprised us was how, even while classes were conducted virtually during the circuit breaker, they were able to pick up on Claire’s struggles and mood just by spending 30 minutes together daily through online lessons. They then reached out to us to understand the situation and offered to engage both our children.

Lai Laoshi is very, very patient with Ashdon and has done a good job getting him interested in Chinese. He is now speaking more Chinese than ever.

When we first visited MindChamps Preschool @ Liang Court, it was a Saturday 11 January 2014. The staff who were present, including teacher Su Ling, Chinese Teacher Chen, Irene and others all stayed back patiently and cheerfully until the afternoon to answer our questions, about the Centre, curriculum and the programme. Then over the next few weeks, the teachers, including Teacher Su Ling, Chinese Teacher Chen worked closely with myself and my wife to help Emmanuel to settle down in MindChamps PreSchool. Even when teacher Su Ling was away, we noted that other teachers like teacher Rina helped out in her absence. The Principal Charis also had good advice and took time from her schedule to sit down to talk to us when we were at the centre and also update us by email. We are grateful for the advice, telephone calls and emails and also the Connection Book that teachers and staff use to update us about Emmanuel’s progress. Each week, we look forward to reading and seeing the photographs of Emmanuel doing his learning activities at MindChamps. We can see how focused Emmanuel looked in the photographs, and the amount of time, effort and materials that has gone into preparing the lessons by the teachers to make the lessons engaging and interesting and educational. Thank you again for working closely with us as parents.
