Our English enrichment programme for Primary 1 will focus on building a solid foundation for grammar mastery and understanding basic grammar rules. Through the classes, your child will be taught learning techniques to help them form sentences with logical structure and varied language. Apart from introducing learning techniques, our English enrichment classes will also focus on instilling values and attitudes in your child, such as the 3-Mind Learning Model, Hour-Glass Model of Active Learning and the 10 Attributes of a MindChampion. Our Maths enrichment programme for Primary 1 will equip your child with basic numeracy skills, including understanding whole numbers of up to 100 and performing basic operations with them. They will be taught abstract concepts such as data analysis, pattern identification and other heuristic techniques required to solve problem sums. At the end of the programme, they will also be equipped with knowledge of topics like Money, Time, Measurements, Shapes and patterns, and be able to apply them in practical situations.
On top of content mastery, your child will also be instilled with values and attitudes, such as the 10 Attributes of a MindChampion, the 3-Mind Learning Model and the Hour-Glass Model of Active Learning. To help your child better understand how Chinese proverbs and idioms can be used in everyday life, he/she will be introduced to the Memory Treasure Box. He/she will also gain exposure to Chinese literature through various channels, such as books, poetry and idioms.
