David Chiem, Founder CEO and Executive Chairman of MindChamps PreSchool Ltd, has been named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore (AustCham).
Awarded to an individual who has successfully established their own business in Singapore, the award takes into account the awardee’s entrepreneurial spirit and journey, the financial performance of the organisation, strategic direction provided by the individual and their personal values.
Staying ahead of the curve
David’s approach of always ‘staying ahead of the curve’ has taken MindChamps from point zero in 2008 to command the number one brand position in the highly competitive Singapore premium preschool space, with a market share of 38.5%. A globally-recognised preschool brand today, MindChamps was successfully listed on the mainboard of Singapore Exchange in 2017 – making it the only preschool to be listed on the SGX.
