MINDCHAMPS PRESCHOOLYIO CHU KANG

My son enjoyed his learning journey at MindChamps PreSchool @ Yio Chu Kang. The S.M.I.L.E.S.™ curriculum allowed Gar Shuan to develop a love for learning and encouraged him to express himself creatively and confidently.

He particularly enjoys his enrichment modules such as Gourmet Moments, NeuroMooves and Music for the Mind. We would like to thank his teachers for bringing life to their home-based learning during the Circuit Breaker. Special thanks too to Mr Dave for delivering the learning materials and the rest of the team for putting things together.

It seemed like it was only yesterday that Yi Xuan started playgroup at MindChamps. From a shy girl, we have seen how much she has grown and progressed up to today in K2. We appreciate the hard work of the teachers in nurturing the children and we are glad that we made the right decision to choose MindChamps PreSchool @ Yio Chu Kang 4 years ago.

We sincerely thank MindChamps PreSchool @ Yio Chu Kang for nurturing our child with the great values of self-confidence, optimism, kindness and to have the courage to explore as she discovers her interests. This, in turn, serves as a solid foundation for her studies while giving her a memorable childhood with a wonderful head start in life.

Having gone through less than ideal experiences with previous childcare centres, we were stringent about finding the right one for Chloe. Thankfully, we gave MindChamps PreSchool @ Yio Chu Kang a chance – and fast forward to today, we are glad to have made that decision.

It was a challenging time for Chloe, who at 4, had to adapt to a new sibling and a new school environment at the same time. We are grateful to have Ms. Michelle as her main teacher, who is very passionate, dedicated, attentive and most importantly, genuinely interested in the well-being of the children. She assured us that Chloe would develop well under her guidance and indeed she benefitted from the excellent learning environment.

We want to express our sincere appreciation to the Principal Ms Maria and the PG team of teachers for their tremendous time and effort in taking good care of our daughter Jayna. We have seen good improvement in Jayna’s communication, physical and emotional skills since joining MindChamps PreSchool @ Yio Chu Kang just 3 months ago when the centre started operations. We can see the improvement in her command of Mandarin – she is able to converse as well as sing more Mandarin songs now. We want to specially thank Ms Cheryl (Jayna’s form Teacher) for the attention, concern and love she has shown to Jayna.As parents, we obviously want the best for our child and we can certainly see that she has been providing that wholesome attention and care which all parents want from their child care teacher. She has also been providing us with frequent updates on Jayna’s development and engagement in class, both good and bad. We appreciate this as it helps a pair of working parents catch up on the time lost with our child, where we may have missed out on certain new habits or skills. We also want to commend the other PG teachers like Ms Aztina and Ms Long Lao Shi for making lessons fun and interactive – Jayna is always looking forward to school and seeing all her PG teachers. We want to thank Ms Maria and her great team of teachers and we look forward to the continuing high standards as MindChamps PreSchool @ Yio Chu Kang grows.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to Rex’s K1 teachers Ms Samantha and Yang Lao Shi. Within 3 months of joining MindChamps, Rex has shown tremendous academic improvement, kudos to both teachers for their sheer dedication and patience. Rex would take every opportunity to fill us in on the lessons and enrichment activities in his class everyday. We would like to take this valuable opportunity to thank the Principal Ms Maria, all teachers and staff for providing our child a conducive learning environment.

As with all parents, our main concern is our child’s well-being and happiness in an environment that they spend most of their time in. We want to take this opportunity to give credit to both Ms Cheryl & Long Laoshi for taking such good care of Gregory. Not forgetting Yu Laoshi who was one of the first teachers who spent most of her time providing Gregory the emotional support during his first few days at MindChamps. We believe with the experienced leadership of Ms Maria as Principal, MindChamps PreSchool @ Yio Chu Kang has set a high standard in terms of the quality of its teachers. We also want to commend Ms Maria on her professionalism, and personable way of handling our feedback – a skill so important (not many have this) with building a good partnership between parents and teachers.

A special mention also to recognise Ms Cheryl’s sincerity and efforts in keeping us up to date with Greg’s temperaments and progress in school. Her kind nature and patience with the children is admirable. She has gone the extra mile to provide her mobile number to allow this open and free communication which matters a lot to us. We would also like to thank the aunties who prepare the meals and snacks for the kids, and who keep the classrooms/school clean.
