Childhood cancer is the second leading cause of death among children in Singapore, with approximately 180 to 200 new cases diagnosed each year.*
These cases include a range of cancers, from leukaemias and brain tumours to sarcomas and beyond, making the cancer journey challenging for both the child and their family.
At MindChamps, we understand the urgency of addressing this critical issue. Our Champs will be raising funds for VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer, a Singapore based charity dedicated to saving young lives through research, medical care, and education.
MindChamps’ mission is to build a world of MindChampions who possess the 3 Minds (Champion, Learning & Creative) and every one of our Champs is nurtured with the 10 Attributes of a MindChampion. Through this initiative, we are instilling the attribute of Compassion in our Champs.

VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer supports children battling cancer. VIVA Foundation is a registered Singapore-based charity which focuses on saving the lives of children with cancer through excellence in research, medical care and education. There is an urgent need to develop better treatments, faster cures and to make newer discoveries. All these would all translate into better survival rates with less late-effects for affected children.
The word “VIVA” is an acclamation meaning “long live!” and VIVA works to rewrite the future of children with cancer, as every child deserves to live and no child should die in the dawn of their lives.
VIVA’s efforts to save as many children’s lives as possible are bolstered by a small but growing group of dedicated partners, incredible volunteers, and compassionate donors.
